Hello! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Kate, and ever since I can remember I have loved to draw. I’m fascinated by how simple lines on paper can capture the world around us. With my artwork, I strive to spread joy, encourage hearts, and bring quiet to the noise in our everyday busy lives.

My husband and I live in the midwest with our three amazing kids and one playful pup. Life is full and wild, but no matter how crazy the season I remember to keep creating to shine light in dark places (even if it’s only a cartoon lunch note). When I am not working on a project or meeting life’s everyday demands, I’m playing with my kids, walking my dog, reading or enjoying a hot cup of tea.

ABOUT MY ART

Usually I do commissioned work using pen & ink, pencil, charcoal, acrylic and/or illustration design. During the summer, time for art is limited more than usual; I try to give my kids as much of my attention as possible. Commissioned work will be touch and go.
