These homes are hand-drawn in pencil and completed with Micron pens. A pen and ink drawing makes a personal, unique and treasured gift. I draw sizes 5x7 or 8x10 on acid free illustration board. Each comes with a standard sized white mat.

This home has a great story. It was built by the client’s wife’s great grandfather and has been in the same family ever since. While drawing, I counted 4 different brick/stone patterns. It is a beautifully crafted/designed home, and it was an honor to draw it for the family to gift at Christmas.

This commission was a gift for my client’s parents. Her childhood home had changed over the years, but she wanted to incorporate the home’s original charm. I changed the door, added flowers and the scalloped address sign to the planter and drew back in the pine tree in the front yard. To make these changes, she provided me with photos from her childhood. It was fun to put all the pieces together to create a drawing full of beautiful memories for her family.
